Minimum Qualifications: Must have H.S. diploma/GED and minimum of 6 years experience in road construction techniques, I.e., road building, maintenance/repair and operation of light construction equipment. Must possess a Class A Commercial Drivers License with Hazmat endorsement; ability to lift in excess of 50lbs. Must be certified on a minimum of four pieces of construction equipment or any combination providing the required knowledge/skills. Submit to/complete post offer drug screen. BARGAINING UNIT POSITION.

Job Description and Wage Information:
Wage: $11.61/hr. Responsible for operating complex heavy construction equipment; Performs various skilled working the maintenance of county roads and facilities; removes snow and ice from roadways as required; transport equipment to work sites; directs work of equipment operators and truck drivers on certain projects; fills in for foreman; submits daily reports as needed; inspects for proper and safe operation prior to use.
