Billing Supervisor/Reimbursement Specialist

Academic physician group practice seeks Billing Supervisor/Reimbursement Specialist. Responsible for directly supervising all departmental billing representatives and data entry personnel to ensure accurate and timely charge capture, charge reconciliation, and charge entry. Evaluates third party payer reimbursements against their contractual reimbursement schedules to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Requires extensive knowledge of third-party and insurance company operating procedures, regulations and billing requirements, and government reimbursement programs. Must posses a good working knowledge of medical information systems for physician billing. Previous Supervisory experience necessary and demonstrated ability to lead and manage others effectively.
