HS/GED, valid driver’s license, and knowledge of building cleaning methods and procedures are required. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and to work independently. Evening shift works Monday through Friday, 4-8pm (20hours weekly) and some overtime possibly required. The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening and background investigation.

Job Description and Wage Information: Wage: $10.35 to $14.44 per hour. The City of Lenexa is a growing, dynamic and progressive city that is accepting applications for a part-time Custodian within the Public Works department. This is an entry level position on the evening shift with duties that include cleaning our Service Center, minor maintenance tasks, and floor maintenance. Additionally this position has responsibilities for recycling
