Education Required: Associate Degree preferred but not required. Mechanical and computer skills required. Willing to work outside in inclement weather.

Job Description and Wage Information:
Wage: $35-38K annually. 1. Primary Area -Pool Management -25% of time: • When needed, perform daily count of available & damaged chassis by size at rails. • Review rail terminal operator information to determine grounded or mismatched member line containers and outbound equipment forecasts and delays. • Monitor chassis operations at rails. • Work with CY's and rails to develop a useable list, with dates, of damaged equipment at each facility. • Provide M & R Manager & Pool Mgr. a daily snapshot of M & R status at all locations surveyor is covering. 2. Primary Area -Chassis Maintenance & Repair -65% of time: • Oversee MWCP -M & R vendors operating at designated rails and CY's for availability, production, safety compliance, policy compliance. • Conduct Pre and Post repair inspections to ensure repair validity and quality. Audit for validity and quality and log results of such audits. Submit weekly audit results to M & R Management at established times.

Approve all estimates per established guidelines and make adjustments to estimates as-required • Review repair trends to identify cost savings opportunities. • Monitor and report on aging damaged chassis at all locations daily. 3. Primary Area –Pool Stat Processes -5% of time: • Review and process work orders in PS when needed. • Process 3rd party damage invoices when needed. 4. Primary Area -Customer Service -5% of time: • Interface with members, vendors, and truck lines to insure problems or questions are resolved quickly and professionally. • Work with Pool management and staff as well as customers to help ensure that the Pool is living up to core values and meeting its goals.
