Minimum Qualifications: Must have a Certificate in Paralegal and/or 5 years of experience in the criminal justice system. Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test or any combination providing the required knowledge/skills. Must maintain a working telephone in his/her residence. BARGAINING UNIT POSITION.

Job Description and Wage Information: Wage: $11.61/hr. Maintains individual inmate financial accounts. Responsible for handling cash and money orders up to $20,000 per week. Approves releases of inmates from custody based on review of commitment and release documents. Inventories, stores and releases inmate property and maintains property room files. Inputs and extracts data from the department of Corrections BARIS & Kansas City Police Department Alert.
