Qualifications:Candidates must be a second or third year law student. Must be able to work 20 hours per week during the academic year depending on class schedule. Must be able to work full time 37.5 hours per week during the summer break.

Job Description and Wage Information: The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) has an opening for an Antifraud Legal Intern in the Legal Division. The position will report to the Antifraud Counsel. This intern will conduct legal research of state and federal laws related to insurance fraud, unauthorized insurance and illegal discount health care plans. The intern will review, analyze and research federal regulatory agencies and state insurance department inquiries and publications and determine which confidential issues will require inclusion into the Special Activities Database (SAD). Additional legal assignments may develop.
