Navigating Unemployment

The Workforce Investment Board of East Jackson County – in collaboration with the Full Employment Council Inc, Metropolitan Community Colleges - Blue River, Missouri Division of Workforce Development and Missouri Department of Labor Employment Securities - is sponsoring a free community workshop to address issues you will face if you find yourself unemployed.

In this workshop you will hear general information regarding the unemployment process, how to apply for unemployment compensation, how to access Career Center reemployment services, and information on community and educational resources that are available to you during this time. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on training in how to use the computer to file your claim, utilize MissouriCareerSource.com, conduct your ongoing reporting requirements and find answers to questions you might have.
