Position Title: Scanning Center Representative
Department: Scanning Solutions Center

POSITION SUMMARY: Scanning Solutions Center Representative is responsible for the efficient prepping, indexing, and scanning of documentation for electronic retention. Additionally, preparing the hard copy materials for destruction or storage. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, transaction entry processing, the ability to meet deadline oriented tasks, and to contribute to the team’s effort to accomplish common goals. This position needs to positively contribute to a high morale / high performance culture through a supporting role.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Formal Education:
Required: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
*Prior scanning, railroad, or general clerical experience preferred
Skills:
*Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
*Excellent oral and written communications skills
*Strong ability to coordinate and execute plans with internal customers and departmental managers
*Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
*Ability to operate and type on a personal computer, operate a scanner and copy machine

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Working Conditions: Work is primarily related to operating computers and scanning equipment to electronically record and index administrative support documentation with exception of documents defined by the company as confidential or sensitive in nature. Candidates must be willing to work moderate overtime, on-call hours, infrequent weekends and holidays.

UNION MEMBERSHIP: All Scanning Center Representatives are required to join the union. Monthly union dues are required and will be deducted from the employee’s paycheck.
