Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs to waist-height. - Repetitive bending, kneeling, stooping and similar movements required. - Must be able to physically restrain dogs weighing up to and including 100 lbs. - One year of experience in customer service related field preferred. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Knowledge of Microsoft Windows preferred.

Job Description and Wage Information:
Wage: $8.50 per hour. Provide the highest quality of customer service to our clients as we assist them in finding an appropriate pet companion. - Through conversation and education, match potential adopters with an appropriate pet companion. This includes introducing guests to shelter animals, explaining the adoption process, completing the application, approving the adoption, and discharging the animal. -

Place follow-up calls to recent adopters - Market and promote retail items to customers. - Effectively communicate clear and accurate information to the public regarding the shelter's services, policies and procedures in a professional and polite manner.
