Qualifications:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs to waist-height. Repetitive bending, kneeling, stooping and similar movements required. Must be able to physically restrain dogs weighing up to and including 100 lbs. One year experience working in an animal shelter, vet clinic or similar environment preferred. Effectively communicate clear and accurate information to the public regarding the shelter's services, policies and procedures in a professional and polite manner.

Job Description and Wage Information:
Wage: Hourly DOE. Admit homeless animals to the shelter and help to prepare them for adoption. Animal Intake Counselor needed to provide the highest quality of customer service and animal care during the animal admission process from the public, animal control and our partner transfer organizations.
