Qualifications: Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to deal professionally and effectively with all types of people. Must be able to count change and handle money. High school degree and 6 months related sales experience. Some college preferred.

Job Description and Wage Information: This is a Seasonal position with a starting wage of $7.25 per hour. Responsibilities include initiating and completing membership sales transactions with zoo guests. This includes greeting all guests, suggestive selling, completing paperwork, cash and credit card handling, and thanking the guest. Must be able to talk to guests utilizing sales techniques to sell memberships. The Kansas City Zoo is open daily from 9:30a-4p Sunday through Saturday.
