Qualifications:Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to deal professionally and effectively with all types of people. Must be able to count change and handle money. Must be able to operate cash register and other equipment. High school degree or 6 months related experience preferred.

Job Description and Wage Information: This is a Seasonal position with a starting wage of $7.25 per hour. Initiating and completing all sales transactions in gift stores. Greet all customers, suggestive sell, and assist with merchandise. Responsible for handling transactions quickly and accurately, balancing cash drawer, and completing deposit. Provide outstanding customer service at all times. The Kansas City Zoo is open daily from 9:30a-4p Sunday through Saturday and holidays.
