Qualifications:
Candidates must have strong computer skills including Word and Excel. Some customer service experience preferred. Must have the ability to learn quickly and have outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally deal with many different personalities at all levels both inside and outside the association. Must have the ability to work independently; excellent communication skills, and work ethic. Must be able to work 20 hours per week during the academic semesters.

Job Description and Wage Information:
Wage: $12.00-$15.00/hr. The National Insurance Producer Registry [NIPR], and affiliate of the NAIC, currently has an opening for a Customer Service Intern. Duties for this position include but are not limited to: Answering calls to the NIPR Customer Service line; Aid the Full Time Customer Service Representatives in answering calls, researching problems, and responding to reported issues. Other duties, such as compiling reports and/or statistics on calls may be required. EOE.
