Job Description : Manages Company cathodic protection programs. Conducts cathodic protection surveys including but not limited to Close Interval On, On/Off, ACVG, and Depth. Assists all Company regions in trouble shooting issues related to cathodic protection projects. Repairs design and installation of rectified impressed systems. Provides support for MPSC Safety Compliance Audits. Coordinates all work for assigned areas with employees and other departments within the Company. Ensures Company policies and procedures are followed. Develops and improves plans to achieve department’s objectives and goals.

Job Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent. Two to five years of relevant cathodic protection experience. Basic NACE Certification for Cathodic Protection desired. Formal electrical training preferred. Knowledge of gas distribution and transmission pipelines and terminology. Knowledge of GPS and cathodic protection testing and troubleshooting equipment. Basic math skills. Basic knowledge of electricity. Ability to collect data and conduct analysis in order to solve problems. Basic Microsoft Office Skills. Strong communication and critical thinking skills. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as necessary to meet business needs. Willingness and ability to travel as required. Knowledge of Cathodic Protection Data Management System software preferred.
