Planner / Maintenance Foreman (Lake Road) (108696)

Minimum Requirements: This position requires minimum High School or GED, and an acceptable rating on the Supervisory Assessment Center Evaluation. A minimum of 5 years experience is required as a Journeyman Electrician, Journeyman I&C Technician, Journeyman Mechanic or Journeyman Welder.

Special Requirements: Expert level knowledge of the maintenance and repair of large industrial equipment and their associated components is required, and craft knowledge to estimate man-hours and materials would be preferred. Knowledge and experience in maintenance planning is preferred. Supervisory experience and knowledge of the bargaining unit agreement is preferred. Must possess effective communication and human relations skills.

Position Responsibilities: The incumbent will develop complete work packages consisting of detailed work instructions, labor estimates, procedures, bill of materials, specifications, drawings, tool and equipment requirements, applicable permits, service histories and any other information required by craft or contractor resources to complete work. Responsibilities also include maintenance planning and support for the EMPAC and/or CMMS systems, thus computer savvy with Microsoft and other software programs is expected.
