First Source KCMO

The purpose of this program is to provide the community with a direct means of contact to find employment and/or information regarding construction jobs and apprenticeship training programs within the constructions industry. We have partnered with The Full Employment Council to make this program easily accessible. Their agency has historically demonstrated being a leader when it comes to community outreach, recruitment and assessment of those in the workforce system. Some of you perhaps have already taken advantage of their services, and if this is the case, then you are just a few steps away from becoming part of a pool of qualified pre-screened, work ready applicants.

What are the qualifications? • Must be 18 years of age or older • Drivers license, Photo ID, or Passport • Social Security Card or Work permit • Proof of completion of High School, GED certification or transcripts • Proof of Kansas City, MO. Residency, i.e.: utility bill, current post marked mail • Reliable transportation,

How do I apply? This program is administered through the Full Employment Council and therefore you are required to completed an initial application and be processed in their database before completing the First Source Hiring Program application. Both of these applications can be accessed on their website www.feckc.orq. The First Source Application must be printed off, completely filled out and submitted in person, along with required documents, to the FEC office at 1740 Paseo Blvd KCMO 64108.

How do I know if I'm accepted? Once all of your documentation is received, you will contact by a Counselor who will assess your skills and perform required testing. You will then be informed in writing of your status within the program.

What happens when I am hired? You must notify your assigned Counselor at the FEC office and report to work as instructed.
