BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for objectively identifying, describing and appraising assigned real property at fair market value. Duties include: Field inspection and data collection; conducting Index/Depreciation Studies; perform Quality Control Review and Quality Grade assignment; build and calibrate Income and Cost models; perform Final Review, represent the UG at Valuation hearings and preparation of special reports for annual maintenance. Commercial valuation experience or mass appraisal background desired.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma / GED and two years related appraisal experience, preferably in mass appraisal; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in mass appraisal. Proficient with PC and software applications such as MS Word 2007 and MS Excel 2007. Paradox or Access desired. KREAB certification or RMA or ability to obtain. Valid Kansas Driver’s License and current liability insurance required. Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus. Skills tests will be administered at time application is submitted.

Salary Range $14.65 - $21.70/hr.
