The License Store in Kansas City, Missouri (DMV) is seeking a manager who will provide a high level of customer service and increase revenue through a highly-trained and positive workforce. The License Store is a private contractor that is responsible for issuing titles and registering motor vehicles, trailers, all-terrain vehicles, manufactured homes, and marine craft. We are also responsible for issuing driver and non-driver licenses, driving permits and any other transaction authorized to be collected for a fee by the Missouri Department of Revenue (MODOR). As Manager this individual will report to the Managing Liaison of the Downtown Council (DTC).
Responsibilities Oversee daily operations
Supervise proper procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments
Daily deposits: work with security company and state website posting
Manage staff of 7-8
Follow proper state procedure for collection of bad checks
Daily reports to Managing Liaison
Daily inventory updates
Record employee time off and report vacation time to the DTC bookkeeper
Send copies of daily financial reports to DTC bookkeeper
Manage break schedules and lunches
Help with customers when needed
Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications High School degree required.
Two or more years in a self directed position with at least two years of which are at an upper management level. Extensive working knowledge of the DMV.
Experience in coordination and oversight of multiple projects.
Clean background check.
